Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1/4 cup grated Asian pear
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, Asian pear, green onions, sesame seeds, and black pepper to make the marinade.
- Add beef slices to the marinade, toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours).
- Heat a large skillet or grill pan over high heat. Cook beef in batches, searing each side for 1-2 minutes until caramelized and cooked through.
- Serve immediately with steamed rice and lettuce leaves for wrapping.
