Ingredients
1 (3 oz) box lemon Jell-O
1 (3 oz) box lime Jell-O
1 (3 oz) box strawberry Jell-O
1 (3 oz) box orange Jell-O
4 cups boiling water, divided
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (0.25 oz) envelope unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1 cup boiling water
Instructions
Prepare each flavored gelatin separately: In a bowl, dissolve one box of flavored Jell-O in 1 cup boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved. Pour into a shallow 8x8-inch pan. Repeat with remaining flavors, using separate pans. Refrigerate until firm, about 4 hours or overnight.
Once firm, cut each gelatin into 1/2-inch cubes. Place all cubes in a large bowl and toss gently to mix. Set aside.
In a small bowl, sprinkle unflavored gelatin over 1/4 cup cold water. Let stand for 5 minutes to soften.
In a medium bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and 1 cup boiling water. Stir until smooth. Add softened unflavored gelatin and stir until completely dissolved.
Lightly grease a 9x13-inch dish. Arrange the colored gelatin cubes evenly in the dish. Pour the milk mixture over the cubes, making sure to fill gaps. Gently press cubes down if needed so they are submerged.
Refrigerate until set, at least 4 hours or overnight. To serve, cut into squares.
Tips
For easier cutting, lightly grease the knife with cooking spray.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
You can substitute any flavors of Jell-O you like; just use four different colors for the best visual effect.
