1 English muffin, split
2 slices bacon
1 large egg
1 slice cheddar cheese

Instructions
Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 4 minutes per side. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
Pour off excess bacon fat, leaving a thin coating. Crack the egg into the skillet and cook to your liking (sunny-side up or over easy), seasoning with salt and pepper.
