Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup beef broth
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
8 oz wide egg noodles
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Cook egg noodles according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned. Add onion, garlic, and mushrooms; cook until vegetables are tender. Drain excess fat.
Stir in cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
Combine the cooked noodles with the beef mixture in the skillet or a large bowl. Transfer to the prepared baking dish.
Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
