  3. In a deep pot or deep fryer, heat about 2 inches of oil to 180°C (350°F).
  4. Fry the potato strips in small batches, stirring occasionally, until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per batch.
  5. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt immediately while hot.
  6. Let cool completely before serving or storing in an airtight container.
