Ingredients
1 lb ground chicken
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 large egg
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
4 burger buns or 8 slider buns
Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and cheese (optional)
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix until just combined.
Divide mixture into 4 equal portions for burgers or 8 for sliders. Shape into patties about 1/2 inch thick.
Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the surface.
Cook patties for 5-6 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). If adding cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking.
Toast buns on the grill or in the skillet for about 1 minute.
Assemble burgers: place patty on bun bottom, add desired toppings, and cover with bun top.
Tips
For extra moisture, add 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise to the chicken mixture.
To prevent sticking, refrigerate patties for 15 minutes before cooking.
Serve with fries or coleslaw for a complete meal.
Leftover patties can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
