- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala

- 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed (about 1.5 cups)
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
- Add chopped onion and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add tomato puree, turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until oil separates, about 5 minutes.
- Add potatoes and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add water, cover, and simmer on low heat until potatoes are almost tender, about 10-12 minutes.
- Add peas and garam masala. Cook uncovered for 5 more minutes until gravy thickens and potatoes are fully cooked.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.

- For a richer gravy, add 2 tablespoons of cream or butter at the end.
