Ingredients
1 lb ground chicken
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 large egg, beaten
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 cups shredded cabbage mix (coleslaw blend)
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp sugar
4 burger buns, split and toasted
Instructions
In a bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined. Shape into 4 patties.
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray the basket with oil.
Place patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 6 minutes, flip, then cook another 6 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Meanwhile, make the slaw: In a bowl, whisk mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar. Add shredded cabbage and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve patties on toasted buns topped with slaw.
Tips
For extra flavor, add a dash of smoked paprika or onion powder to the patty mixture.
Leftover slaw can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
To toast buns, place them cut-side down in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes at 350°F.
