Ingredients
6 cups cubed seedless watermelon (about 2 lbs)
1/2 cup cold water
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (from 1 lime)
2 tablespoons granulated sugar, or to taste
Ice cubes for serving
Lime slices and mint sprigs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Place watermelon cubes in a blender. Add water, lime juice, and sugar.
Blend on high until completely smooth, about 30 seconds.
Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher, pressing on solids with a spatula to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard solids.
Taste and adjust sweetness or lime juice as desired. Refrigerate until cold, at least 1 hour.
Serve over ice and garnish with lime slices and mint if using.
Tips
For a less sweet drink, use less sugar or omit it entirely if the watermelon is very sweet.
Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days; stir before serving.
