- 8 cups water

- 1 lime, sliced (optional for garnish)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil. Add the dried hibiscus flowers, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the sugar until dissolved. Let steep for 20 minutes.
- Strain the liquid through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding the flowers. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
- Serve over ice with lime slices if desired.
