Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Non-stick cooking spray
6 scoops vanilla ice cream
6 tablespoons chocolate syrup
6 tablespoons rainbow sprinkles
Instructions
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt. Add water, melted butter, and vanilla extract; whisk until smooth batter forms.
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with cooking spray. Pour about 2 tablespoons of batter onto the skillet, spreading into a thin 6-inch circle. Cook until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side. Repeat with remaining batter to make 6 cones.
Immediately after cooking, while still hot, wrap each round around a cone-shaped mold or roll into a cone shape. Hold for a few seconds until set. Alternatively, roll into a tight cylinder and then twist into a spiral shape. Let cool completely.
Once cones are cool, fill each with a scoop of ice cream. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and top with sprinkles. Serve immediately.
Tips
For best results, use a cone mold or shape the cones while they are still warm and pliable.
