Ingredients 1 lb ground turkey (93% lean) 1 tbsp olive oil 1 small onion, diced 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tbsp chili powder 1 tsp ground cumin 1/2 tsp smoked paprika 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1/2 cup chicken broth 8 small corn or flour tortillas Toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomato, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa
Instructions Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add ground turkey and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook until liquid is mostly absorbed, about 2-3 minutes. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave. Fill each tortilla with turkey mixture and desired toppings.
Tips For extra heat, add a diced jalapeño with the onion. Leftover turkey filling can be refrigerated for up to 3 days. Serve with lime wedges for squeezing over tacos.
