Ingredients 1 lb ground beef 1 tbsp olive oil 1 small onion, diced 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tbsp homemade blend) 1/2 cup water 4 large flour tortillas or 8 small corn tortillas 1 cup shredded lettuce 1 large tomato, diced 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1/4 cup sour cream 1/4 cup salsa
Instructions Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook until soft, about 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned, about 5 minutes. Drain excess fat. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 2 minutes. Warm tortillas according to package directions. Assemble tacos or wraps: place a portion of beef on each tortilla, top with lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream, and salsa. Serve immediately.
Tips For a healthier option, use ground turkey or chicken. Add guacamole or sliced jalapeños for extra flavor. Store leftover filling in the fridge for up to 3 days.
