Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough, at room temperature
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce
- 6 oz sliced provolone cheese
- 4 oz sliced salami
- 4 oz sliced pepperoni
- 4 oz sliced ham
- 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll pizza dough into a 12x16-inch rectangle.
- Spread marinara sauce evenly over dough, leaving a 1-inch border on all sides.
- Layer provolone, salami, pepperoni, ham, roasted red peppers, and mozzarella over sauce.
- Starting from one long edge, roll dough tightly into a log. Pinch seam and ends to seal.
- Place seam-side down on prepared baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds if using.
- Cut 3-4 slits on top to vent steam. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with extra marinara for dipping.
Tips
- For a crispier crust, bake on a preheated pizza stone.
- Substitute fillings with your favorite meats and cheeses.
- Store leftovers wrapped in foil and reheat in oven.
