Ingredients
200g thin egg noodles (fresh or dried)
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Vegetable oil for deep frying
Instructions
Cook noodles according to package directions until just tender. Drain and rinse under cold water. Spread on a paper towel-lined tray to dry completely, about 10 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix honey and soy sauce together. Set aside.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 180°C (350°F). Fry noodles in small batches until golden and crispy, about 1-2 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels.
In a large bowl, toss the fried noodles with the honey-soy mixture until evenly coated. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately.
Tips
Ensure noodles are completely dry before frying to prevent splattering.
For extra crunch, double-fry the noodles: fry once, let cool, then fry again for 30 seconds.
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days, but best eaten fresh.
