Ingredients
8 sour candy belts (e.g., Sour Punch Straws or similar)
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons sour cream
1/4 cup crushed sour gummy worms (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
In a small bowl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and sour cream until smooth and creamy.
Lay one sour candy belt flat on a clean work surface. Spread about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the entire surface of the belt, leaving a small border at one end.
Starting from the end without the border, tightly roll up the candy belt into a spiral. Repeat with remaining belts and filling.
If desired, roll the outside of each roll in crushed sour gummy worms for extra texture and flavor.
Place rolls seam-side down on a plate. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set before serving.
Tips
Store rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
For a firmer filling, use full-fat cream cheese and chill the rolls longer.
Experiment with different flavors of candy belts and fillings, like strawberry cream cheese or chocolate.
