Ingredients
2 cups finely crushed pretzels
3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon sea salt flakes (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
Bake crust for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crust.
Return to oven and bake for 15 minutes, until edges are bubbly and center is set. Let cool completely in pan.
In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat until just simmering. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Let sit 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
Pour chocolate ganache over cooled caramel layer and spread evenly. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set. Lift out of pan using parchment, cut into bars.
