Your favorite pizza toppings
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a food processor, pulse the popcorn until it resembles coarse crumbs. You should have about 2 cups of popcorn crumbs.
In a large bowl, combine the popcorn crumbs, beaten eggs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet and press it into a 12-inch round, about 1/4-inch thick. Use your hands or a spatula to shape it evenly.
Bake the crust for 10-12 minutes, until golden and firm.
Remove from oven and spread pizza sauce over the crust, leaving a small border. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and add toppings.
Return to oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let cool for 2 minutes, then slice and serve.
Tips
For extra flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder or red pepper flakes to the crust mixture.
Store leftover crust (without toppings) in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
This crust is best enjoyed fresh, but you can reheat slices in a 350°F oven for 5 minutes.
