Ingredients
- 1 pound pizza dough, homemade or store-bought
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Divide pizza dough into 4 equal pieces. On a floured surface, roll each piece into a 6-inch circle.
- Spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on one half of each circle, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
- Top sauce with 1/4 cup mozzarella, 2 tablespoons pepperoni, and 1 tablespoon Parmesan.
- Fold the other half of the dough over the filling to form a half-moon. Press edges to seal, then crimp with a fork.
- Place pockets on prepared baking sheet. Brush tops with beaten egg, then sprinkle with oregano and garlic powder.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Tips
- For extra crispiness, brush with olive oil instead of egg wash.
- Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; reheat in the oven or air fryer.
