- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 8 (3-ounce) paper cups or popsicle molds
- 8 popsicle sticks
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the fruit juice, sugar, and lemon juice until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Pour the mixture evenly into 8 paper cups or popsicle molds, filling each about 3/4 full.
- Place the cups on a baking sheet and freeze for about 1 hour, until partially frozen.
- Insert a popsicle stick into the center of each cup, then return to the freezer and freeze until solid, at least 4 hours or overnight.
- To serve, tear away the paper cup or run the mold under warm water for a few seconds to release the popsicle.
Tips
- For a layered effect, freeze small amounts of different colored juices in stages.
- Store popsicles in a freezer bag for up to 2 months.
- Substitute sugar with honey or agave syrup for a different sweetness.
