Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup caramel sauce
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy cream
6 fun-size Milky Way bars, chopped
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour and salt; mix until a soft dough forms. Press evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake crust for 15-18 minutes, until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
In a small saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce. Heat over medium-low, stirring constantly, until smooth and slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Pour over the crust.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Spread over the caramel layer.
Sprinkle chopped Milky Way bars and pecans (if using) over the top. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are bubbly and top is set.
Cool completely in pan on a wire rack, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
Tips
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
For cleaner cuts, use a sharp knife and wipe it clean between cuts.
You can substitute Milky Way bars with any chocolate-caramel candy bars.
