Ingredients
2 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 cup refried beans
1/2 cup salsa (medium or mild)
1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
1/4 cup sliced black olives
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1/4 cup sour cream (optional for drizzling)
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper until browned. Drain excess fat.
Brush both sides of tortillas with olive oil and place on the baking sheet. Bake for 5 minutes until lightly crisp.
Spread refried beans evenly over each tortilla, leaving a small border. Top with cooked ground beef, then spoon salsa over the meat.
Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the pizzas. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from oven and top with diced tomatoes, black olives, and cilantro. Drizzle with sour cream if desired. Slice and serve immediately.
Tips
For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with black beans or seasoned tofu.
Serve with extra salsa and hot sauce on the side.
If using corn tortillas, stack two per pizza for sturdiness.
Leftover pizza can be reheated in a skillet for crispiness.
