Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1/2 cup water
1 can (16 oz) refried beans
4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
1 cup salsa
2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
1/4 cup sliced black olives
2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain fat. Add taco seasoning and water; simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes.
In a small saucepan, warm refried beans over low heat until spreadable.
Place two tortillas on the prepared baking sheet. Spread half of the refried beans over each tortilla, then top with half of the seasoned beef.
Place remaining two tortillas on top to form sandwiches. Spread salsa over the top tortillas, then sprinkle with cheese.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are crisp.
Remove from oven and top with sour cream, diced tomatoes, olives, and green onions. Cut each pizza into 4 wedges and serve.
Tips
For a vegetarian version, substitute beef with black beans or plant-based crumbles.
Add jalapeño slices for extra heat.
Leftover pizza can be stored in the fridge and reheated in a toaster oven.
