Ingredients
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, brown sugar, dried rosemary, dried thyme, and black pepper until well combined.
Place your choice of meat in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the meat, turning to coat evenly.
Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to 24 hours for deeper flavor.
Remove meat from marinade, discarding any leftover marinade. Cook as desired (grill, roast, or pan-sear).
Tips
For extra tender meat, add 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar or pineapple juice.
This marinade can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Marinate seafood for no more than 30 minutes to prevent the acid from cooking it.
