Ingredients
- 500g lamb liver, cleaned and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Salt to taste
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, lemon juice, oil, and salt to make a marinade.
- Add liver pieces to the marinade, mix well, and let rest for 15 minutes.
- Thread the marinated liver pieces onto the soaked skewers.
- Grill or cook on a hot griddle over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side, until cooked through but still juicy.
- Serve hot with mint chutney and onion rings.
Tips
- Do not overcook the liver to keep it tender.
- Soak skewers to prevent burning.
- Can be cooked in an oven at 200°C (400°F) for 10-12 minutes.
