- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 4 burger buns
- 1 cup kimchi, chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and pepper. Add ground beef and mix gently. Form into 4 patties.
- Grill or pan-fry patties over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to desired doneness.
- Meanwhile, combine chopped kimchi, shredded carrots, and green onions for the slaw.
- Mix mayonnaise and gochujang to make the spicy mayo.
- Toast burger buns lightly. Spread gochujang mayo on bottom buns, add patty, top with kimchi slaw, and sprinkle sesame seeds. Close with top bun.
