Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Break each graham cracker in half to form squares. You'll need 4 squares for the base, 4 for the roof, and 4 for the walls (cut two squares diagonally to form triangles for the gables).
  2. In a small saucepan, combine honey, butter, and powdered sugar. Heat over low heat, stirring until smooth and slightly thickened, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. To assemble each house: Place one graham cracker square on a serving plate as the base. Spread a thin layer of honey mixture on the edges of two wall squares and stand them upright on the base, forming two sides. Repeat with the other two walls, using the honey mixture as glue.
  4. Spread honey mixture on the top edges of the walls and place two graham cracker squares on top as the roof, angled to form a peak. Use the honey mixture to attach the triangular gable pieces to the front and back if desired.
  5. Decorate the houses with candies using the remaining honey mixture as glue. Let set for 10 minutes before serving.
