  3. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk and cream. Cook, stirring, until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat. Add cheddar, Gruyère, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir until cheese is melted and smooth.
  6. Stir in cooked macaroni. Pour into prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with panko breadcrumbs.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
