Ingredients
1 pound pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
1/2 cup pizza sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup diced ham (about 6 ounces)
1 cup pineapple chunks, fresh or canned (drained if canned)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
On a floured surface, stretch or roll the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle. Transfer to a lightly oiled pizza pan or a piece of parchment paper.
Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border for the crust.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Evenly distribute the diced ham and pineapple chunks on top of the cheese.
Drizzle olive oil over the toppings and sprinkle with dried oregano.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Tips
For a crispier crust, preheat a baking sheet in the oven and slide the pizza onto it.
If using canned pineapple, pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
