Ingredients
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs (about 12 full sheets)
¼ cup granulated sugar
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and sugar.
Pour melted butter over the crumb mixture and stir with a fork until all crumbs are evenly moistened.
Transfer the mixture to a 9-inch pie plate or springform pan. Press firmly and evenly into the bottom and up the sides using the bottom of a measuring cup or glass.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before filling, or bake at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes if a firmer, toasted crust is desired. Cool completely before filling.
Tips
For a chocolate version, substitute 2 tablespoons of graham crumbs with cocoa powder.
Store baked crust in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
