Ingredients
2 pork sausages
2 rashers back bacon
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 large egg
1 large tomato, halved
4 mushrooms, halved
1/2 cup canned baked beans
1 slice white bread
Salt and black pepper to taste
Butter for spreading
Instructions
Heat a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the sausages and cook, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes. Remove and keep warm.
Add the bacon to the pan and fry until crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and keep warm.
Add the oil to the pan. Fry the tomato halves and mushrooms, cut-side down, until softened and lightly charred, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and keep warm.
Pour the baked beans into a small saucepan and heat over low heat until warmed through.
In the same frying pan, fry the egg sunny-side up or to your liking, seasoning with salt and pepper.
Toast the bread and spread with butter.
Arrange everything on a plate: sausages, bacon, egg, tomato, mushrooms, beans, and toast. Serve immediately.
Tips
For a traditional touch, add black pudding or fried bread.
Keep the beans separate to avoid sogginess.
Adjust cooking times based on your preferred doneness.
