Ingredients
1/2 cup whole milk
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Line a small baking sheet (about 8x8 inches) with parchment paper.
In a small saucepan, whisk together milk, heavy cream, sugar, cocoa powder, corn syrup, vanilla, and salt. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat to low and add chocolate chips. Stir until completely melted and smooth.
Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly to about 1/4-inch thickness.
Place in the freezer for at least 2 hours, until firm.
Once frozen, break the bark into irregular pieces. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the freezer.
Tips
For extra crunch, sprinkle crushed nuts or sea salt on top before freezing.
Store in the freezer for up to 2 weeks; let sit at room temperature for 2 minutes before serving for best texture.
