Ingredients
24 mini pretzel twists
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips (optional, for drizzling)
Flaky sea salt (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Arrange the pretzels in a single layer on the sheet.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semisweet chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.
Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each pretzel into the melted chocolate, turning to coat completely. Let excess drip off, then place on the prepared baking sheet.
If using milk chocolate for drizzling, melt it in a separate bowl in the microwave. Transfer to a small piping bag or zip-top bag with a tiny corner snipped off. Drizzle over the chocolate-covered pretzels.
While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with flaky sea salt if desired.
Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes until the chocolate is set. Serve cold or at room temperature.
Tips
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
For a festive touch, add sprinkles or crushed candy canes before the chocolate sets.
If the chocolate thickens while dipping, reheat in the microwave for a few seconds.
