Ingredients
2 cups heavy cream
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons coconut oil
Instructions
Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang on two sides.
In a large bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
In another bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Gently fold into whipped cream until combined.
Pour mixture into prepared dish, spread evenly, and freeze for at least 6 hours or until firm.
For the chocolate coating, combine cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and milk in a small saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips and coconut oil until melted and smooth. Let cool slightly.
Once frozen, lift the dessert out using parchment overhang. Cut into 8 bars.
Place bars on a wire rack set over a baking sheet. Pour chocolate coating over each bar, letting excess drip off. Return to freezer for 15 minutes to set coating.
Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
Tips
For a thicker coating, double the chocolate coating recipe.
Let bars sit at room temperature for 2 minutes before serving for easier biting.
Store leftover bars in the freezer between layers of parchment paper.
