Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound frankfurters, sliced into 1-inch pieces
2 cans (15 ounces each) baked beans
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper; cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
Add sliced frankfurters to the skillet and cook until lightly browned, about 3 minutes.
Stir in baked beans, ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
Transfer the mixture to a 2-quart baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and slightly thickened.
Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
