  6. Bring the sauce to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce heat to low and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in apple cider vinegar.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt. Use immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
