Ingredients
2 lbs ground beef (80/20)
8 slices American cheese
4 sesame seed hamburger buns
4 leaves lettuce
8 slices tomato
8 slices dill pickle
1 small onion, sliced
4 tbsp ketchup
4 tbsp yellow mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Divide ground beef into 8 equal portions (4 oz each). Shape each into a patty slightly larger than the bun, season with salt and pepper.
Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for about 3 minutes per side for medium doneness.
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover to melt.
