- 1 1/2 cups finely crushed cookie crumbs (e.g., graham crackers, chocolate wafers, or shortbread)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the cookie crumbs and sugar.
- Pour the melted butter over the crumb mixture and stir with a fork until all crumbs are evenly moistened.
- Transfer the mixture to a 9-inch pie plate or springform pan.
- Press the crumbs firmly and evenly onto the bottom and up the sides of the pan using the bottom of a measuring cup or glass.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before filling, or bake at 350°F for 8-10 minutes if a firmer crust is desired.
