Ingredients
1 cup chocolate hazelnut spread (such as Nutella)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix together chocolate hazelnut spread, sugar, and egg until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in chopped hazelnuts if using.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, until edges are set but centers are still soft. Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
