Ingredients
1 lb chicken breast tenders
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 large eggs
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup vegetable oil for frying
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
In a shallow dish, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. In another dish, beat eggs. In a third dish, place panko breadcrumbs.
Pat chicken tenders dry. Dredge each tender in flour mixture, then dip in egg, and coat with panko, pressing lightly to adhere.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook tenders in batches, 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature 165°F). Drain on paper towels.
For honey mustard sauce: mix mayonnaise, honey, and Dijon mustard in a small bowl.
For barbecue sauce: combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a small saucepan. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let cool.
Serve chicken tenders with both dipping sauces.
Tips
For extra crunch, use seasoned panko or add 1/4 cup grated Parmesan to the breadcrumbs.
Leftover tenders can be reheated in an air fryer at 350°F for 3-4 minutes.
Sauces can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to a week.
