Ingredients
1 boneless skinless chicken breast (about 6 oz)
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 large egg
2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)
1 medium potato (for fries)
1/2 cup apple slices
1 small toy (optional)
Instructions
Cut chicken breast into bite-sized nuggets (about 1-inch pieces).
In a shallow bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika. In another bowl, beat the egg. Place panko in a third bowl.
Dredge each nugget in flour mixture, then dip in egg, and coat with panko.
Heat oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Fry nuggets for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
Cut potato into thin fries. Toss with a little oil and salt, then bake at 425°F (220°C) for 12-15 minutes until crispy.
Arrange nuggets, fries, and apple slices on a plate. Add a small toy for the full Happy Meal experience.
Tips
Serve with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.
For a healthier version, bake the nuggets at 400°F for 15 minutes instead of frying.
The toy can be a small action figure, sticker, or any fun surprise.
