Ingredients
1 lb ground chicken
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 large egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp olive oil
4 burger buns
Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and condiments for serving
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix until just combined.
Divide mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties, about 3/4-inch thick.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature 165°F).
Toast burger buns in the skillet or oven if desired.
Assemble burgers: place patty on bottom bun, top with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and condiments of choice. Cover with top bun.
Tips
For extra moisture, add 1 tbsp mayonnaise to the chicken mixture.
Patties can be grilled instead of pan-fried.
Store leftover patties in the fridge for up to 3 days.
