- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 2 slices ham
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
Instructions
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice, buttered side down, in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Layer ham, cheese, and mustard (if using) on the bread in the skillet.
- Top with the second slice, buttered side up.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then flip carefully.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden.
- Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, then cut in half and serve.
