- 1/2 pound bacon, chopped

- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (15 oz) can butter beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (28 oz) can baked beans (such as Bush's Original)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and bacon until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and mustard. Cook for 2 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the kidney beans, butter beans, and baked beans. Add the meat mixture and stir well.
- Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake uncovered for 45-60 minutes, until bubbly and thickened.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
