Ingredients
- 3 slices bacon
- 2 slices white or sourdough bread
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 2 leaves iceberg lettuce
- 3 slices ripe tomato
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- Toast bread slices until golden. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice.
- Layer lettuce, tomato slices, and bacon on one bread slice. Season tomato with salt and pepper.
- Top with the other bread slice, mayonnaise side down. Cut in half and serve immediately.
Tips
- For extra flavor, use thick-cut bacon and add a sprinkle of black pepper.
