Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, green beans)
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until beef is browned and onion is tender; drain excess fat.
Stir in frozen vegetables, cream of mushroom soup, milk, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook until heated through, about 5 minutes.
Transfer mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
Arrange biscuit dough pieces on top of the casserole.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until biscuits are golden brown and filling is bubbly. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
