Ingredients
4 plain bagels, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup sour cream
1 cup cream cheese, softened
1 packet (1 oz) French onion soup mix
1 cup finely chopped dill pickles
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon pickle juice
1/2 teaspoon dried dill
4 oz smoked salmon, chopped
2 tablespoons capers, drained
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F. Arrange bagel slices in a single layer on baking sheets. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Bake 10-12 minutes until golden and crisp, flipping halfway. Let cool.
For French onion dip: In a small bowl, mix sour cream, cream cheese, and French onion soup mix until smooth. Refrigerate until serving.
For dill pickle dip: In another bowl, combine chopped pickles, mayonnaise, pickle juice, and dried dill. Refrigerate.
For smoked salmon dip: In a third bowl, mix smoked salmon, capers, lemon juice, and chives. Fold in 4 oz of softened cream cheese (from the French onion dip ingredients, or use additional). Refrigerate.
Arrange bagel chips on a large platter. Place each dip in a small bowl and set on the platter. Garnish dips with extra chives, dill, or capers if desired. Serve immediately.
