Ingredients
1 pound pizza dough, at room temperature
1/2 pound ground beef
4 slices bacon, chopped
1/2 cup pizza sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
1/4 cup sliced pickles
1/4 cup diced red onion
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone or inverted baking sheet inside.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Discard all but 1 tablespoon drippings.
Add ground beef to the same skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
On a floured surface, stretch or roll pizza dough into a 12-inch round. Transfer to a piece of parchment paper.
Spread pizza sauce evenly over dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Top with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
Sprinkle cooked beef and bacon over cheese.
Carefully slide pizza (on parchment) onto preheated stone or sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes until crust golden and cheese bubbly.
Remove from oven. Top with diced tomatoes, pickles, and red onion. Drizzle with ketchup and mustard. Slice and serve.
Tips
For extra crispiness, pre-bake the crust for 3 minutes before adding toppings.
Serve with additional ketchup and mustard on the side.
Leftover pizza can be reheated in a skillet or oven.
